Red Picasso
To pick up the brush
is to start your own exhibit
of simple minimalist paintings
You stroke the brush across the canvas
causing the paint to expand
and the number of strokes to grow
The precious paint slowly drips off the canvas
as the salty water ruins the painting
I miss my paintings so
but I do not want to disappoint thee
so I'll put my paintbrush down,
continue my old life and
close the exhibit of the Red Picasso
