Star struck moonlight guides me on my way

My hopes lie peacefully at my side

Guided by the night and by my dreams

What am I to do when dawn wakes

My mind is wide awake with every clear thought

Yet when the sun sets my mind becomes a haze

The busy sidewalks and classroom full

of kids distracts my mind from other things

It distracts me from my dreams

At night when I’m asleep I dream of happy things

Dreams that here on earth are impossible for me to reach

I can keep those dreams alive though while the sun sleeps

Yet for a moment I hope that those

dreams will be fulfilled, but that

small hope was shoved aside when the

kid next to me showed my talents up
