Is it wrong...?
Is it wrong for me to feel this way?
Is it wrong for me to want you near?
Is it wrong for me to get butterflies?
Is it wrong to live with tears?
Is it wrong to say “I love you”?
Is it wrong to wish you do too?
Is it wrong for me to be here,
wishing I was with you?
Is it wrong to wish that I could be her,
standing by your side?
Is it wrong for me to say and think,
“it will only last a while.”?
Is it wrong for me to cry at night,
thinking about you and her?
Tears streaming down my face,
because I’ll only be just ‘that girl’.
Is it wrong to believe it wasn’t fair,
that you and me were meant to be?
Yet she came in and stole you.
She swept you off your feet.
I can only hope your happy,
because I will never be.
My heart was meant for only you,
and you split it into three.
Is it wrong for me to still love you,
even though you’ve made things clear?
Best friends are all that we can be
just know that I’ll always be there.
