As I walk the crowded hallway I hear someone say,
“My, look at the girl coming this way!”
As usual, I stride like a model on the catwalk or
I pretend they’re just fans coming to gawk.

Some things you'll never get to see,
Unless you were as tall as me.
I see the world from a different view,
As I stand taller than you.

Many people stop and stare,
When they see me so tall standing there.
I've grown accustomed to your gaze,
While some may shun me, some are amazed.

I’ll never slump my shoulders,
I’ll always hold my head high and
I’ll look the world square in the eye.

Tall is a very big word, I mean being 5'5 doesn't exactly make you tall but it makes you feel tall. The poem paints a picture, it's not really saying that the girl IS tall but rather how she felt about being tall.

I LOVE IT, love it, love it. Why isn't she getting more ratings? I have no idea!

You know, the interesting thing about this poem is it's not really deep, using I guess you could say high-concept language, it's simple yet at the end she brings in more of the famous I guess you could say poetic language. Wonderful piece, I must say.

I think it's good; I really like the ending though. You can tell the person who wrote this, is tall, she wouldn't be able to describe the girl so well. :)

On the poem tip, it’s on point; the rhymes scheme, the word choice, all that. The message is uplifting; someone taking their situation, eating it and vomiting realness that everyone can ingest and gather nutrition. The author message says to me, “don’t let nobody steal your joy, cause ain’t no body stealing mine!” I love it.

This poem is not only for a tall girls but for short girls too. The lesson in the poem is that the girl stood up for herself and held her head high. SO even short girls are taunted; they too can stand up. Being tall is frustrating at times, guys are shorter than you and that's the first thing people comment on when they see you. Forget your nice nose or cute smile, it's always "Wow, you're tall." Hey that's life. FIVE STARS!
