Individuality makes us human

When you die, I promise you
there are some things I will do
As they lay you down to rest
I'll throw some roses on your chest
No one's crying in the crowd
I'm singing Thriller nice and loud
Your lifeless body won't be alone
I'll bring a bottle of rum from home
And don't feel guilty about leaving me here
I've got a condo and a six pack of beer
I love you so much
But we'll be in touch
I keep my cell phone near...

I just hope they have cell service down there ;)

I promised my friend I'd keep her funeral fun and happy. And I thought of this poem. (Just in case you didn't get it, she didn't die and go to Heaven like you'd think.)

"il piu nell' uno," (according to Emerson, an Italian expression for beauty)

"Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality" ~Emily Dickinson

"The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain"
~Kahlil Gibran

This was a delightful poem. Although it was quite funny, it was oddly touching.
