Thinking of what could’ve been

Pride is not important when the heart is in desperate need

The pieces start to shatter and it starts to cry and plead

Is that what one is given for falling in love?
The horrid drops of hard cold rain?

Or could it be that there was never love?
Is it possible that one could be obsessed?

The failure haunts one’s head and makes the world demented

The sun and moon are nothing compared to the eyes in one’s head

The river wont sound beautiful in comparison to the voice in one’s mind
The insanity will take over and love will make one blind
