Pieces of Peace
The blue prints for dreaming up the impossible are folded and hidden in my mind
Barricaded by a million peace treaties left unsigned
Trapped by a cage made of corpses of a world gone blind.
These latent thoughts speak to me at night
Those blue prints unravel in my dreams and come alive
Shining bright, white lights into the black night sky
I begin to believe peace has at last arrived.
At the stroke of seven, my alarm clock goes off
The disconcerting noise of a farmhouse terminates my wishful thoughts
Forcing me to flee a world, one I have always sought.
