Looking Glass
A mirror, a reflection
they say a gateway to the soul.
But how can we judge the thing we see when it is so well known?
In it you will only find
what has been seen before,
covered in changing costumes
but with a never changing core.
It speaks some awesome tales
that sink into your mind,
but let it be known that reflections have the craftiness to lie.
Mirrors speak no truths, only reflect what is known,
soley in the eyes of others can the truth be shown.
So when you take to soul searching only have a glance
at the picture thrust at you from behind the dirty glass.
Look to the world of fowards
to find an honest tale,
because in the looking glass you will search without avail.
