The Body of Sydney
I’m tired of this bulls*** I just want to start over
In the dream world we used to be in
Where it might sound corny here
To be loved and to be free
Where I know I’m treated equal
You think I’m kidding
But I am dearly not
There truly once was a time
That I felt I could fly
All though it was strange
It was a time and place when nothing mattered
Where I was free to say whatever my mind said
It was when I could care less about what anyone else said
Now that I am saying aloud
It does sound kind of silly
Feeling as though I could fly?
It must have been a dream
A silly place to call home, all to myself?
I must be delusional or at least going zany
Because I feel trapped inside this body
The body of Sydney
