I'm Lost
I’m lost, abandoned really
Everything is upside down
And I know you think I’m acting silly
But honestly I fell like I’m going to drown
I thought I had my whole life planned out
And I wish I could have seen this coming
But when it came to you I had no doubt
And still when I see you my heart stops drumming
But being lost isn’t all that bad
I can finally stop worrying about you
I’m still angry, confused, and a little sad
And even though my life has gone somewhat askew
I think that I’m going to be okay
I no longer need your should to cry on
I have friends that are there for me night and day
And my life has gotten better now that you’re gone
I don’t have to tag along with you and your pals
Or go to all of the places that you want to go
Trust me I would much rather hang with my gals
And this has given me an opportunity to grow
You broke my heart, without looking at the cost
And now I think I can clearly see
That the best thing about being lost
Somebody else gets to find me
