Two People Talking
Once again, I’ve laid eyes upon you.
And once again, I feel a love so true.
Your brown hair parts to reveal your blessed face.
Our eyes meet, and my heart begins to race.
You greet me with your wonderful voice,
As I reply, in my heart I rejoice.
As our conversation starts to begin,
I fight with all that I am to hold my feelings in.
How long our talk lasts, I do not care.
To stop these blessed moments, one would not dare.
Two people talking, such a simple thing.
You wouldn’t believe what joy it can bring.
The talk ends as you walk away.
But to have many more, right then I pray.
My God bless that wonderful day.
When I tell you all the things that I’ve been waiting to say.
