I see you in the distance,
I don't dare come near.
I see you draw closer,
My body fills with fear.
I remember us in the past,
Things were so right and clear.
Looking at us now,
Screaming is all I hear.
I try to invision our future,
Yet nothing seems to appear.
Bruises cover my body,
Put your hand down, dear.
