Only One
If you think you’re the only one hiding behind a smile
I’d say that’s a lie
So stop hiding in denial,
And give the truth a try
Just once, I want you to be wrong
I want you to see you can take your smile away
If you could admit I’m right, my heart would sing a song
Maybe, once, just once, let your heart stray
Wipe that smile clean off your face
Let it melt and show your true self
Because this just isn’t the place
To think you’re out of help
When you truly feel like your emotions are dying,
I want your smile to stay strong
But, if you think you’re the only one lying,
You’re really, really wrong.
