A Quarter for Your Voice
Our motto is live to be a fabrication.
The word special in our society
Only precedes education.
Our motto is live life to die
For what,
For fame.
When we're rotting in our graves maybe then people will remember our names.
Our motto is persist on sitting at the back of the bus
Forget the fact all these people made such a fuss.
History doesn't matter to any of us.
A penny for your thoughts?
A dime for your time?
A quarter for your voice?
Well, listen to mine.
Instead of being critical and saying adults are hypocritical,
I think its critical that we look at ourselves
Because the end is near.
We always wonder whats good with her hair
When we should be wondering whats good with our ears?
‘Cause we hear God speak through the pastor every Sabbath day
Yet we continue to disobey.
We don't even know the words to hymns .
Who knows the song All Creatures of Our God and King?
Yet we can tell you who said that d.r.a.k.e. stands for do right and kill everything.
I don't mean to sound cliche
Stop watching your life waste away
Let's pull a carpe diem
And seize the day?
