This is Hope
There lives a boy named Hope.
Hope lives in a broken home.
Nobody cares, nobody knows;
Hope is all alone.
The kids at school make fun of Hope;
They call him all sorts of names.
There’s nothing the little boy can do;
He walks away in shame.
When Hope finally gets home,
He cries and lies in bed.
Everyone seems to hate him,
Because the color of his skin.
His tear drops begin to fall,
Like a cascading waterfall.
People will throw their sticks and stones,
And Hope will always be alone.
