When all water burns
When all water burns,
And the fire rises high,
Who will be there
When you look to the sky?
When our tears unite us,
And make us push on,
Even when no other light
Has been shone,
When the gift of our lives
Washes away pride,
And we all sink down
And ponder and cry,
Who will be there
When we look up in awe?
Who is He but the one True Law?
He will be there, to whom
we bow down and praise,
Begging forgiveness
Of less innocent days.
So when lakes are on fire,
And the well has run dry,
Who will be there
When you look to the sky?
