Once I Ruled the Oceans...
Once I ruled the oceans and lands as far as the eye could see,
with no one in the universe more powerful than me.
Men came from distant lands to honor me at my door,
while others bowed their heads so low their noses touched the floor.
Those were the days when I reigned supreme,
now I am forgotten as though from a fleeting dream.
While slavery has forever stripped me of my power,
I will always remain a king even to my final hour.
