as you sleep.
it's the way your laugh
overwhelms your body,
slumping you further into the covers.
and how your arms stretch out as you yawn,
as if you were five again.
you are such a child.
the scent you leave on my pillow
lulls me to sleep
and when I awake
the imprint of your form is a
pleasant reminder.
there are no words
for the way your body moves
against mine
as you sleep.
