eliot was wrong about the symphony.
words sound off,
fast and loud,
but never yours.
never yours.
and explosive sounds
belong to my voice,
such an annoying symphony.
now, as much as i regard eliot highly,
i happen to disagree with that man.
the world has to end with a bang,
for a whimper simply does not fit
such a premise.
this is it.
this is enough.
there will be no melting tonight,
and the rain shall stop.
watch this trick.
watch this symphony crescendo
and then go out.
the silence will be heard.
we are empty,
and we are full.
there may be a bang,
but surely,
no whimper.
