Dear Dad
I wrote you a letter
You never wrote back
I said hello then goodbye and that was the end of that
I ripped each page with your name on it in my diary
I gripped my hair and bit my tongue
Then gotta hold of sanity
Each particle of your face
Faded from my mind
And all that was left was paperthin and crept away in time
Now you call me thinking your words are words you can erase
Or words that were never there
Can appear from outer space
I don’t love you dad
Get it thru your head
I’m 15 now and have a life
And it's almost like you're dead
