Just Try
A girl that is special and smart in so many ways
Just let her self go
She thought she couldn’t pass
Her teachers kept telling her to try her best
She would say she is not smart
And she would try to convince people to leave her alone
One day her mother reminded her of a promise
She made to her grandmother
The promise was to pass all her classes,
And her to graduate high school and go to college.
She tried to tell her mom she wasn’t smart enough
But she knew she was
Because she knew all the answers in class
She asked her teachers if she could make up her zeros
From then on she tried her best to pass
She graduated high school
Now she is off to college
To pursue her dream to become an actress
She will work hard and not be a failure again.
