Brain-washed
So that’s how you lost me
Sun fading into dark
Wilting a flower dies
And the thunder strikes louder
And I was frustrated
And I was tired
I was sinking into a dark abyss
In which all I could say was goodbye
And more goodbyes
However I couldn’t understand a single word
And I tried to decipher you Morris code
And you were in a perfect state
You were on top of your game
But you had me fooled for too long
Brain-washed
The key led to a door
Amidst the cobwebs and spiders
Where light shined
In through the dark abyss
And oceans flooded the banks
Around the villages of poverty
With ravage and no forgiveness
Yet I was sinking
I thought I was on top of my game
But I was tricked
By you to keep me brainwashed
Brain-washed
