Isolation
Cold and Dark,
The senses take over
Calm breaths feel like ice.
There’s nothing to see here,
Too numb to feel.
Lonely for as many miles seen.
Starving for a companion,
Animals contain my co-compassion,
Until the hunger takes over.
It’s Cold.
It’s Dark.
