The Palace
Life is a cemetery,
Though the deceased may lie on their beds,
It does not stop the visits that they receive,
For the tombstone marks their existence for eternity,
Even though the corpses of the beloved don’t move a finger,
They move the hearts and inspire the living,
So don’t be so judgmental of the gloom that hovers upon the floor,
Crowded by stones,
Instead judge the palace that lies underneath,
For one day you will join the crowd of loved ones and role models,
Never forgotten,
Always remembered.
