Her image
She painted an image of herself, a pretentious role she played. To be herself meant being someone she despised, so she retracted, and continued to paint this synthetic portrait. The person she potrayed she was, began to dissolve while her true colors became more visible. The fraudulent configuration she built was replaced by purity. But she still lacks to foresee her true beauty.
