An Optimistic Man
I am an optimistic man who loves a good car.
I wonder if there is a car that can go as fast as light.
I hear the roar of hundreds of horses under the hood.
I see a car with gleaming wheels cruising into the sunset
I want to ride fast over a slick track.
I am an optimistic man who loves a good car.
I pretend to be an underground racer.
I feel the adrenaline pressing against my chest
As I speed down the Autobahn.
I worry that I well wreck and never see tomorrow.
I cry when I lose a good friend to this passion.
I am an optimistic man who loves a good car.
I understand that I will no be able to speed for the rest of my life.
I say build us more tracks to race for free.
I dream that one day I will have car shop of my own.
I try to be the safest driver in the world…
I hope to ride all my life.
I am an optimistic man who loves a good car.
