Flashback
There was a little girl with little red curls
Who would frolic and play with the other young girls
Everyday around one o’clock
They’d run and skip to their favorite spot
Daisies and flowers of every kind
They would pluck and into necklaces bind
Dancing around in total bliss
The little girl thought nothing could be better than this
So everyday around one o’clock
She’d continue to run to her favorite spot
Yet one day the rain came and washed away
The beautiful place where she used to play
The flowers were crumpled the daisies all flat
And the little girl’s mother said you can’t go back
Tears overwhelmed her tiny face
At the loss of her dearest most favorite place
As she got older and her memories blurred
She returned to the spot that used to be hers
The magic remained, but the flowers all gone
She found her love continuing strong
From that day on around one o’clock
The girl would sit and remember her favorite spot
Under the trees and surrounded by flowers
And how there every summer she spent countless hours
