Who I Am
I can slap a smile on my face
When life calls for tears
I can dance in a storm
When lightning awakens my fears
I can be strong
When I honestly feel too weak
I can climb a mountain
When a blizzard blows from the peak
I can look ahead
When you turn my back
I’ll kill you with kindness
When your words attack
I can take to the sky
When you steal my wings
I can play you a song
When you cut my strings
I can write you a novel
When you tie my hands
I can be so tall
When you refuse I stand
I can look to the heavens
When you put me through Hell
I can stay above the surface
When the oceans waves swell
I can get rivers to flow
When you stop them with a dam
I can tell you without speaking words
When you ask me who I am
