Karma
Maybe I look at you,
And regret the things that I have said,
Maybe I was just copping an attitude,
Or you were bothering me again.
Maybe I feel sorry for you,
Because it is you who threw your life away,
You will never experience that joy once lived,
Because when it mattered the most, you had nothing to say.
Your sorrows, they could have been lifted,
Had you only changed your ways,
But karma has now left you giftless,
With no one but yourself to blame.
