Destined For Joy
They say happiness is a journey not a destination
But I’ve been traveling for quite some time, and have not yet achieved this sensation
Fourteen years may be too young to comprehend
But I sit here waiting, and the joy seems to descend
Not one moment has brought my world to a halt
Could that be karma or simply my fault
Still searching for that one true moment to outnumber the rest
One that my soul will gladly digest
Up until this point I have been on the external odyssey
But as of now I will re route to discover the internal simplicity
I’m not expecting instant bliss
Just possibly a moment that will be worthy to reminisce
My embarkation shall not be put at rest another day
I’m ready world, show me what you have to convey!
