Prison Walk
Walking on the lined road
Under a fluorescent sun
Ive walked this road before
But this time I run
My emotions fallow me
Leaving black tracks in the dirt
But I just keep running
Because I hate being hurt
You can’t hide from the soul
You can’t run from the heart
But what they don’t understand
Is I want us to part
Take leave of me sadness, pain and despair
On this page that I travel on, there is room for you there
In the form of graphite, ink, and lead
I release you to the paper
If you get out of my head
