A New Day
Wind ruffles her hair,
Making it swirl.
Leaves fly,
Birds chirp.
Two hearts dance,
Lost in each other.
Stars fall in her eyes,
Raining over him.
A fire burns deep inside her,
Pulsing,
Raging,
Dying to be let out.
Souls entangled,
They’re caught in the game of hearts.
Passion burns through kisses.
Thunder rolls,
Making her stronger.
She climbs trees,
Up to the top.
Looking down;
The world is hers.
Her eyes burn deep,
Shining like sun on water.
Rain pours onto her like buckets.
Arms stretched wide,
Reaching for somewhere to belong.
Wind whistles in her ears,
Whipping at her clothes.
Her eyes close,
And she wills it all to stop.
