The holes that need patching
I pick out my jeans for wearing
You know the ones with the holes,
The ones that are ripped and tattered?
People may ask why I keep them around
And why they still hang
In my closet
The reason I give them is, that they represent
Me; my inside and outside
My heart is torn, my feelings have rips
And my confidence is left hanging to dry
Yet I still wear my jeans hoping the holes will be patched
