Head and heart are at war
missiles hissing with roars
He said he loved me
I gave him the key
My head tells me no
my heart whispers,
go.
Just take a chance
not a second glance
Broken heart and lost paradise
shattered dreams and angers arise
The past rattles like thunder
where did I go wrong, I wonder
My head knows better
but my heart wants love letters
My mind takes the blame
and my tears feel the pain
Please make it go away
before my veins give way
Crying tears of a salty ocean
here comes the sickening motion.
