Inevitable
It was inevitable,
reality was going to demand recognition.
Living life steadily in a masquerade,
is a mere allusion to gain protection.
A false visual aspect of life
may be nice to look at,
but it is not genuine.
A sham.
No real smile,
just a Maginot line,
which continuously fails,
Yet is interminably rebuilt,
only to crumble under pressure.
Some teary eyes,
cannot look out at the world
without seeing it through a mask.
