Ode - “Crescent Moon”

The crescent moon is something I fear.
It sits in the sky, so eerily near.
And if one night it decides to fall,
It will likely decapitate us all.
This is why on a night very still,
I stay far away from Bruebaker Hill.
Because atop that hill so-so high,
Is the place I will be most quick to die.
