My Hair Cut
I remember when
I used to get
My hair cut by my mom.
I never had a brush
Because I always had a
Bald head.
The reason my mom
Cut my hair
Was because
I didn’t have a dad
To take me to the shop.
Now I’m older
I have a brush
And I go to the shop
Because my dad
Became my dad and
Now I keep a crispy cut.
In the shop we talk about
Man things like girls, using protection,
And most of all respect.
That’s something you can’t
Depend on with a mom
Because moms cook and clean
They don’t cut hair.
