Six Feet Under Water
Pull back the sand,
and drink up the water
I’ll be lying at the bottom of the ocean,
from the last time you threw me there.
A silhouette of my body printed in the sand
as seaweed wraps around my neck,
choking out my one last breath.
Bubbles float to the top of the wake.
They are the last evidence
of my short existence
Only the fish know what you did
