Saving the Backyard Shed
I was locked up in a backyard shed
with nothing to do,
no entertainment, nothing new.
locked in the back shed
and sniffing glue.
I haven't been waiting long
but I've been waiting for you.
in this shed
my own mind is dead.
no thoughts to spill
only time to kill.
no windows or sound,
the shed is bolted
to solid ground,
my screams can't be heard
I scream for anyone around.
empathy it can't be,
it can't be found.
I have been locked up in a backyard shed
with nothing to do,
no entertainment, nothing new.
I haven't been waiting long,
but I can only wait for you.
