Seasons Go
Seasons change,
They come and go;
Why can’t they stay?
I’ll never know
The year begins
With winter snow,
And January winds
That make us slow
Then life is returned
By spring showers,
Bringing the birds
And March flowers
Next in June,
Summer heat soars;
For barbecue days
And water wars
October brings
An autumn breeze,
And discolored leaves
Fall from their trees
Then the year ends
In winter snow,
But again next March
I’ll watch it go
