acting as if we just dont care,
when we both know that we are
still in love.
we're going our seperate ways and
we're not even sure where we've been.
you're dating her, my sights are set on him,
pretending, just pretending we don't notice
eachother staring at one another
the smiles, the chemistry between us,
pulls our hearts closer but the pain
we recall pulls us away.
we're just pretending to barely be friends,
when really we both want much more.
