the way I felt
the sound in my ears
ringing
his voice surrounds me
every cell inside me;
him.
The feeling of him being so far away
So far from me
Its too much to bear
So I spoke goodbye
Goodbye to the doors that locked my feelings in
And I told him
I took a deep breath and prepared myself
I told him
I opened the gate and the water spilled out.
And he told me back
