fly little bird
One of your wings may be broken right now
The will to fly may be out of your reach
But you have to get up I’ll show you how
This minute I give to you my own torn towel
You are hurting, it shows on your very face
Take the towel and you can start to re-heal
It may be hard but get up win your race
For only you can pre-set the right pace
You are not meant to be on this rough ground
Do not give up soon rehabilitate
Follow that drummer pound after pound
Listen to the trumpet sound and resound
You know the trees are where you will find peace
Shadows always appear for some reason
They stay there if you let them have lease
Listen to your heart, they will soon decrease
You were born to fly and to go soar
Finding your way back to the trees, release
It’s not going to be easy, it may pour
You were not ever meant for this vast floor
You are the one with feather light wings
Feel your pain and suffering start to recede
Re-chirp in the trees, you will start trusting
Wing once broken no longer needs to sting
