12 Midnight
12 midnight
The hour of yesterday changing to tomorrow.
The hour of crickets chirping hidden by over grown grass and fireflies buzzing through the fields.
The hour when owls call waiting on trees and croaking toads resting on pond beds.
The hour of a dark blue sky with yellow shimmers of lost stars.
The hour of late night snacks, just one more bed time stories, and good night kisses.
The hour of sleepover giggles from little girls.
The hour that is slower then the carousels of dreams.
The hour of empty halls and full beds.
The hour when hope is longing and anxiously waiting for the possibilities of what tomorrow will bring.
