Melting Snow
Spring's quickly coming, I can feel it near
The cold is thawing, the sky seems endless
Fresh flowers, rain showers, are nearly here
This ice will melt and warmth shall enclose us
I’m in so deep I feel like I can’t breath
And keep slipping on the ice, falling down
I need to get away, need to be free
I want to smile, get ride of this frown
My sun will shine, my butterflies will soar
Soon I will look around through different eyes
I won't see this frigid view anymore
And hopefully break through this chain of lies
All winter long, I've been wishing for this
And after this winter, spring will be bliss
