That you had nowhere to turn
The emotions overwhelmed you
You started scaring yourself
You weren’t sure where you were
Or if you belonged
You thought it was the end
Of this meaningless world
It seemed like you weren’t needed
It seemed like no one really cared
It seemed like this life was nothing
But a torture chamber
running out of air
Face down in the water
Just about to drown
A voice told you
That I was there
I’ll always be there
I’ll love you forever
