Nature
When we really need it
Just one day
Where we can rest
Just one day
Where we can have a break
We are crushed
Our hopes are crushed
Everything would be fine
If we had just that one day off
But nature trampled our anticipations
It rained on us, combined with gusts of wind
The rain swept away our faith and keenness
The wind blew away our joy and gleefulness
We become sick
We become angered and annoyed
How can this happen?
Why would nature do such a thing?
We just needed one day off
“Why?” we ask
But we realize,
That once the storm is gone
The sun will come up
And the grass will become greener
Once we suffer today,
There will be a better tomorrow
