Corner
Pushed into a dark corner
By rough, forceful hands.
No way of escape.
The cold floor
Sends chills up my spine.
The harsh corner
Cuts into my back.
If only a hand
Would penetrate
Through the darkness.
But I turn around,
And nobody is there.
Hot tears
Roll down my face.
Tears of frustration,
Tears of anger,
Tears of despair.
My heart burns
With a fiery ache.
The flames
Destroy all of my hopes and dreams.
How can I forgive him
For pushing me into this corner?
He did it with no regret,
No shame.
How do I get up-
Out of the cruel corner?
I turn around
But nobody is there.
