Invisible

People talk about you,
They don’t know you’re there,
Like you’re invisible.
While I sit quietly, reading my book,
All of you laugh, giggle, and snicker,
I hear my name and glance up,
To find the teacher wondering if I’m here.
One of them sneers I am,
Nobody likes me,
Everybody hates me,
I put on my IPOD to try and drown them out.
I pull my legs up to my chest,
I find no comfort in anything anymore
Only…writing.
Class goes on, study hall, typical
Nobody notices me,
I guess I am, just, invisible after all.
