Silent Rain

I close my eyes and listen to the sky cry tonight
as I face the endless pain I begin to suffer.
I'm sorry I couldn't save you.
That I'm too selfish and too much of a coward.
You've helped me open my eyes.
Experience new things.
Really know what it feels like to love.
You were my inspiration.
My hero.
My candle in the dark.
But now that its all burnt out.
I have nowhere to run.
Only an endless darkness surrounds me.
And as I slowly disappear and give in.
I cry silently with the rain tonight.
